Phil,
I'm using 10.55D and this doesn't do what you suggest for me unless I
misunderstand your procedure. If I enter a call then wipe it, either by
using Alt-W or the backspace the QTCs then get assigned to the last call in
my log. If this call happens to be on my continent then an error box
appears. If the call is not on my continent I can enter the QTCs but they
are now attached to the wrong call.
Maybe what you have discovered is undocumented because it should not work
that way. In any case what is so wrong with having a dup line that shows
QTCs worked?

Subject: [WriteLog] QTC's AFTER a contact
Hi all,
I saw a couple of comments about handling QTC's "later", and ending up with
a dupe.
Yes, if you enter the call into the call field, and then initiate the QTC
window, then when you press OK, it will enter the call and the QTC and give
you a dupe.
I had this once, as I wasn't paying attention, BUT, there is a solution, and
one that may not be documented!
To get over this, first enter the call you wish to exchange QTC's with, AND
THE wipe it from the call field.
Now, when you initiate the QTC window, it will use that call!
This way, you get the QTC's recorded, but not a dupe!
