Hi John,
I can't speak specifically to POE lighting, but the New Hampshire
ARRL RFI hunter team did earlier this year find a case of a
noisy POE injector in a home security camera system. The injector was
fed from a SMPS wall-wart, which was the source of the RFI.
Choose your DC supply carefully for the POE injector.
Depending on how the dimming function is implemented,
that could be a separate source of RFI. Hopefully others
on this reflector will have direct experience with lighting
systems using POE.

Mike, K8CN

Has anyone used POE lighting in a residential or office setting? Did you
experience RFI issues on HF?
It looks like it is easier to wire and control re low voltage regs and building
codes, and dimming/control looks great, but I am worried about RFI.
