Excellent question ... that never occurred to me. No idea.

If they are noisy, can they be quieted? Or is there another method to
run the little critters that is quieter?

Thanks ... DavidC KD4E

How much RFI is generated by those 30 Amp ESC controllers to run the motors?

I had a wild thought ...

I've seen quad-copters controlled via a program to fly in various
patterns.

What if they received a target signal and relayed, real-time, that
signal back to the controller - so that they could triangulate down
to the source?

I'd imagine it's possible to them to have tiny on-board computers
so they could process and control independently ... but that's
probably a whole lot harder.

Coding such a thing is way above my pay grade ... but I thought I'd
share the notion ...
