Tony asked: Is there a particular brand of Ethernet cable that's shielded better than others? --- while Peter didn't answer the question asked: Most Ethernet cable is "UTP" - Unshielded Twisted Pair. Look for "STP" ... Shielded Twisted Pair. ----- I only use Belden Cat5e sheilded. and who I recommend. there is an excellend info packet about eathernet cableing and emi/rfi at http://www.belden.com/pdfs/Techpprs/IsYourEthernetCableToughEnoughtp.pdf You may find cabeling that costs less per foot BUT you may end up with inferioir quality for the sake of a few dollars. Hopeing that info is precise and in answer to the question you asked.
