Is there a frequency used by cable providers to locate leaks?
I had heard the headhead sends out ascending tones at somewhere in the =
120-130 mhz range. I understand the field tech rides around listening to =
that frequency and depending on how many tones they hear is an =
indication of the severity.
Is this generally correct? I am familiar with the 145.250 method.
73,
Randy
