Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Nov 29 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2898 (S24W28, Cso/beta) produced B-class flare activity and was in decay. Region 2900 (S26W44, Dai/beta) produced multiple B-class flares and exhibited growth throughout the period. Region 2901 (N16E56, Hsx/alpha) was quiet and stable. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low, with a chance for isolated C-class flare activity, over 29 Nov-01 Dec.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be normal to moderate over 29 Nov-01 Dec and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected the continued CME influence. Solar wind speeds meandered between 340-395 km/s. Total field strength reached a peak of 11 nT and the Bz component varied between +9 to -7 nT. The phi angle was in a steady negative orientation through about 29/0400 UTC and variable from negative to positive through periods end.

Forecast: A slightly disturbed solar wind environment is expected to persist through the remainder of 29 Nov as CME effects wane. Background conditions are expected to prevail over 30 Nov-01 Dec.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet to active levels due to weak CME effects.

Forecast: Quiet to unsettled conditions are expected for the remainder of 29 Nov as CME effects subside. Mostly quiet conditions are expected to prevail over 30 Nov-01 Dec with the return of a background solar wind environment.
