My station operated M2 in the CQ WW SSB contest recently. Several Orion
crashes during the weekend requiring "rebooting" (the idea of rebooting a
transceiver still strikes me as odd).
I've also had a problem with SSB TX power dropping to zero/no modulation
from time to time. Cycling power on and off seems to cure. The rig keys
OK, just no output power. Double checked foot switch and mic, they seem to
be fine.
Hope this is fixed in a firmware update soon. Waiting for the Orion to
reboot in the middle of a contest is maddening.
