[na-user] clicks and no sidetone on NA

My Compaq laptop does that too.  So I plug the interface cable into the 
parellel port but don't hook the other end to anything and Bingo--I have a 
sidetone.  I have no idea why and I don't care.  

Take that for what it is worth.
