JIM, I HAVE USED FOR YEARS THE 2N3904 IN MANY CIRCUITS THAT CALLED FOR THE
2222. IT IS AN ALMOST IDENTICAL PART. NO PROBLEMS. RS STOCKS THEM AND I
USE THEM FOR MY KEYING CIRCUITS. GOOD LUCK, ES 73 DE MILT, N5IA
