[Karlnet] Flashrom Lights don't work with 802.11b Compatible Mode?

Has anyone else setup a flashrom unit in 802.11b mode with Karlnet?
Mine seems to be working fine but the flashrom lights dont seem to 
work like they do when it is using Turbocell.
Is this normal?
If it is then thats cool but if not... Let me know... :-)
