Gentlemen we have not fully tested this version of firmware but your
feed back would be appreciated. This is version firmware 1.42 for the
Prism 2.5 cards.

Norm
The noise readings are a firmware issue on the Prism as it does not
report this info to KN. What are the test you have run checking the
signal levels? Replacing an Orinoco with a Prism on the Client side the
rx signal level should not change very much.
FYI the Mikrotik are 200mW cards, technically there is no such thing as
a 250mW card its marketing. We work with the manufactures that both TT
and Mikrotik are dealing with and they have confirmed this!

Ok, but with one clarification, _both_ signal and noise are not reported
correctly. It would be very nice if TC could read the card, or a
firmware fix could make it so. Do you know the status of other PRISM
2.5 card as to
this reporting problem, ie; the Mikrotik 250mW cards? Do they report
the
signal/noise levels correctly to TC? If so, then it's a matter of
getting
the card manufacturer's firmware to adhere to this standard. I wonder
if
Doug could chime in here to confirm that this is a firmware problem with
the
card? Does Karlnet have a fix for this card?
