In defense of Ken, I will report that I received a reply from him in
response to a packet message regarding the vaporization of the
radio1/radio2 control bit. His response may, or may not, have anything
to do with problems others are experiencing with keying radios
from previously working bits. I have downloaded 9.26 and tested the
rig control bit, but I have not tested the CW sending bit. After all,
it's still more than 1 week away from a CW contest at this point,
and I wouldn't want to be TOO prepared!
Anyway, Ken's response was :
He was trying to maintain compatibility with N6TR's bits, but
was unable to do so and keep all the functionality. He said
to 'stay tuned' for 9.27 on the board soon.
(Or words to that effect. Very Loose Quote).
Yes, as the author of the leading piece of contest logging software
in the world, he might have some sort of responsibility to his 'public'.
