Greetings Ken,
Ran into a weird problem while updating the station computers.
Only tried on 3 positions so far. 2 stations on 20M and the packet computer
So far it only affects TS940.
Setup:
CT967
Station 1 FT1000MP Set up as station 3 Com 1
Station 2 TS940 Set up as station 13 Com 1
Station 9 Just hooks packet into the network Com 1
Ethernet coaxial LAN
Both radios set for computer control and as Radio01
Setup is for CQWW MM
Bring up CT on the Packet computer no problem
Bring up CT on the Main 20M station no problem
Bring up CT on the second 20M station no problem
Hit Alt -G and gab between all 3 computers works fine
Move the tuning dial on the TS940 and the CW window showing
speed logging/keyboard comes up.
Turn on SOUND and hit F1 and sure enuff CQ comes out the speaker.
Try to log a contact on the second 20M station and the error message
"Bad mode from remote input = 1" comes up on the other 2 computers.
Contact logs on the second station, but not on the other 2 computers.
Contact logged on the main 20M station shows up on all 3 computers.
Swap comports on the second 20M station, no help.
Change TS940 to Radio02 in setup and Hit Alt .
Dont know if it is suppose to(as I have never used it) but no freq is
displayed
in Alt-J, but no CW activity. Can log a contact across the network
Remove TS940 as Radio01 on second station and all OK
Changed Station numbers on the Second station and no help..
Attached are the results of -Debug..
On to updating the other 9 computers
Take care
73/Bob
