Well, a couple of things perhaps:
1.) More dropped Qs cause of not being able to read
2.) Spent time re-writing those log pages with illegible handwriting
3.) Make QSOs at a slower rate in order to write neater
I don't know! How did mankind exist without the automobile? Well, we
got by somehow. But today just as we go places faster, so our scores are
higher too.

As always, hard cases make bad law, and SCP is a good example of pushing

SCP is merely the extension and the aid of the operator's own memory. I know
ops who can remember (with certain degree of accuracy) all of the calls they
have already worked. If we are to develop and value that skill as a major
operators ability -then SCP should be banned. I use to play volleyball and
the ability to jump high is very important but not always those who can jump
higher win. I think contesting is not about remembering all the calls and
not about the ability to send and receive QRQ. I do not think SCP should be
banned therefore. It saves the operator time and efforts to be used for more
intellectual job like planning tactics and strategy.
