NYQP 2025 - By the Light of Day, Into the Dead of Night.
1400z Saturday, October 18th, 2025 to 0200 Sunday, October 19th, 2025.
Our 17th Year, which means we're finally old enough to drive!
Come join us for 12 hours of fun and excitement in this year's New
York QSO Party. The sunspots are still burning bright, and we're
starting the engines in a little over 2 weeks. This year promises to
be another stellar event, with more mobile activity planned and plenty
of plaques to win.
There have been some rule changes for this year, so please be sure to
check NYQP.org for the latest version of the rules. There's also more
exciting stuff on NYQP.org, such as a list of planned activations,
previous year's results and records, and helpful tutorials on
operating in the NYQP.
No plans yet? It's not too late! Our mobile and portable categories
have plenty of flexibility for you to be the hunted and not just the
hunter. County statistics are available for you to figure out which
counties are the rarest to operate from (hint: if it is very cold, or
has extreme population density, it's rare).
New this year for mobiles and portables is the Live State QSO Party
APRS Tracker, which will be available at
https://mobiletracker.stateqso.com/. Follow the guys and gals around
and work on getting the FIRST EVER NYQP County Sweep!
