Not sure why this is seen as being so unique. There is a group of hams
that regularly works two radios on transmit. I would often do this
during events like WAE where one band was very runnable and a second
band was opening.
I did not have the stamina to do this on two bands for 48 hours, but
folks shouldn't be so shocked that it happens.

Some few years ago when several M/S stations did so (octopus CQs) on
the same band most of the people complained that those guys have taken
too much of the bandwidth, so such CQs were prohibited straight after.

We get it. We totally get it and we think this is ultracool to watch. At
least I did.
Fascinating. To us. I just hope nobody shares this video with
non-cons as a way to highlight how much fun contesting can be. Without
the audio, and
to the uninitiated, Dan could look like an actuary frantically
filling in actuarial tables. I don't think a non-ham or non-con would
see this as fun.
(Where are the explosions? How many respawns do you get?)
This is the kind of video that should be reserved for only those
contesters at or beyond Operating Thetan III levels!
Way to go, Dan. It's impressive how calmly you can bang off nearly eight
