got it working Rich! I finally found the little drop down box from EXTFSK on the windows task bar and was able to set the right port and all now working! Thanks for all your help! 73's Cort K4WI

I think at this point, I would just work with the standalone MMTTY program and get that working. Forget WL for the moment.

I have no more ideas as I am doing exactly what you are doing and it works fine.

You are using the STANDARD FTDX101MP port correct?

Also in the WL RTTYRite -TU TYPE window make sure you have XMMT.ocx

those are all there and I select EXTFSK64 and the issue remains the same. I think it is a port issue but since the drop down menu cant be seen no way to select the right port.... but then again what do I know...lol

Do you see these files EXTFSK64.FSK, EXTFSK.DDL, EXTFSK.INI, EXTFSK64.INI in your MMTTY folder?

If so, then in MMTTY SETUP goto:

TX - PTT&FSK - Port - select EXTFSK64

it is all there BUT the little drop down window does not appear either under EXTFSK or EXTFSK64 so I think that is where the problem is. I did a new install of MMTTY and moved the dll to MMTTY but nothing works. How to get that windo to show up. I even opened MMTY as a stand alone and still no window....

Rich wrote on 9/24/2025 2:03 PM:

EXTFSK64 needs to be in the same folder/directory as MMTTY.

In MMTTY - Setup goto:

TX - PTT&FSK - Port - Select EXTFSK64 if it is not listed it is not in the right directory

Once the window appears

Select the standard comport (mine is 8)

FSK Output DTR

PTT Output RTS

I just tested this on mine and it works 100%

the 101MP uses USB from the radio to computer with enhanced port 13 and standard is 12. In MMTTY I have it set to EXTFSK64 and I think thats where the probl;em is. Can't get the drop down window for that to show up....

What RTTY hardware are you using,  the USB FSK/AFSK line from the radio,  or an external device for FSK ?

Let me go over this again: using FTDX101MP with Writelog and MMTTY trying to get set up for CQWW RTTY this weekend. All is setup and seems to be working. Writelog is seeing the correct frequency and MMTTY is decoding RTTY signals. When I hit any of the F keys radio goes into TX and MMTTY shows the correct message and looks like a correct signal going out. RF is going out but the monitor in the radio only puts out a single tone so I don't know if it is actually TX RTTY or not. I have looked every where but can not come up with a fix for this .... any ideas sure would be welcome! thanks 73's Cort K4WI
