I left in a couple of non-contest special events, they normally have higher
percentages since they get spotted by dxers who may just spot them and turn

Similar to the group above this seems like an unlikely large group
to all connect to w1dx to spot ik2vfr and no one else specifically in
the contest. This would of course also need assistance from the sysop
to get the ip's to find out for sure if it is from italy. Again note

There were some other things that are in the data files that I didn't
pull out specifically above:
There were lots of spots by and for a61 stations that seemed strange.
Many of them were by A61KM and A61BN for A61BK. But then A61BK spotted
A61BM, and A410F was in the mix also. It may be a case of them all going
through some kind of proxy server and just cheerleading for the buddies.
DT8A did a bunch of self spots, but the same ip was also used by W3NM and
DS4NMJ to spot him.
There were a bunch of spots, many with malformed frequencies put on
dxsummit. They were from a couple IP groups allocated to France but
apparently used from the French Carribean islands. In those FM4LV
spotted himself many times, as did FM4NB, but the two groups of spots
shared the same frequency problems where 7186khz was put in as 71862khz.
