working 700+ with a straight key has never been much of a problem, its
the paper logging that slows me down, even with a contest short hand.
now that i have had carpal tunnel surgery i have no trouble sending a
contast with the ol' WWII J38.
the biggest change in modern technology/operating practices at my shack
has been the addition of an MOPA
i have a switch between the ARC5 main VFO and a 6AG7/6W6 xtal mopa. now
when i am CQing i an ALWAYS on the same freq, and people now know where i
am and where i will be
