Hi Warren.

Nobody is going to listen to an entire contest.
However, there are certain logs that raise a red flag.
Listening to select portions is all you need to do.

The tape would be an important piece of a puzzle for the checkers to use.
So would a tape from a Time Machine type recording.
There are a lot of dedicated people that volunteer their time and 
would be thrilled to have this tool.
It would save time in the long run.

It sounds worse than it is.
Look how many people were impressed with what CN2R did with his logs.
All qso recordings available on the web via callsign search.
Nobody need go to that extreme, but great tools nonetheless.
