Oh I remember that one very well. Last hour of CQWW CW and I was doing
single band 15, needing zone 6. I came upon this blur of dits and dahs and
it took me a few repeats to get it right.

The call that I will never forget was 6E5EBE .... not even sure if it was it
was used in WPX or CQWW contest .... it goes back to the 1980s or early
1990s .... those guys probably still hold the record for "most dits
transmitted during a single weekend"

Not sure about weird or unusual, but a QSO that has stuck in my mind from
many years ago was working A35NN in and ARRL DX CW contest. His exchange
was 5NN NN. I remember it took me a few QSOs listening to figure it all
out!

What's the most unusual or weird prefix you have ever worked?
GL in the contest.

One of the fun things about the WPX contest is the number of multipliers.
Every new prefix worked helps build the score. Ray NM2O has looked at the
TI7W log from last year and made a list of the USA prefixes worked.

Want to be rare this weekend? Find a prefix that is not usually active and
put it on the air!
