It was not doing this in the 10M contest this weekend. I STRONGLY feel
that cut numbers beyond N and leading zeros should be banned from serial
numbers. Perhaps we should be not logging QSOs that include them as a
protest. What the lids who use them fail to realize is that sending real
numbers helps a lot under marginal conditions, and have the chutzpah to
think that their signals are not subject to the same auroral flutter
that they hear on ours, especially failing to slow down when it's
present. They also fail to realize that many of the stations they need
to work have noise limitations that put their big signals in the mud.
