Guys,
in my humble opinion the "?" versus "QRL ?" question does not make a big
difference, as I do not see confusion caused by this "habit".
But I see more confusion caused by (mainly SSB):
- Using "QRZ ?" or own callsign instead of CQ
- Using "plain CQ" instead of "CQ DX" (and afterwards complaining about
non-DX calling :-))
If you believe it does not happen: Listen to the bands!
So there is worse than the question of "?" vs "QRL ?"!
