The process of feeding two antennas with split transmission lines is
straightforward. Create a short, thin wire at a considerable distance
from the antennas--anywhere from 20-100 wl away. The length of the
transmission line is specified in the TL entry, not in the geometry unless
you actually specify "actual distance." Run transmission lines from each
antenna to the new wire. They will be in parallel at the new wire, just
as in reality. You can use the same length for each to feed in phase or
different lengths to change phasing. (Of course, use lengths that you can
achieve in real life. A 3' and a 4' section coming together for antennas
separated by 8' won't quite give useful results, even if the results look
pretty on the output pages.) The source goes to the new wire, which is
the junction of the two transmission lines. Being short and distant, the
1-segment new wire plays effectively no role in the antenna pattern
development.
