Hi people.

Ok have a interesting one.

For starts I am not sure which version amp this is, it does have the remote ports on the front panel.

The switching power supply has a sticker of 2013 in it.

The sps schematic is unreadable, tried to find one online. None found.

Replaced the mrf150's

Have a saw tooth ripple imposed on the output (160 mtrs) have not tried other bands. Going to try other bands today.

Has anyone seen this before, really don't want to tear into the power supply if there is a simple fix.

I have tried various bias levels (150-250/device) no real change. No idea of what the bias should be set at nothing in the manual. Went online and seen all kinds of quiescence levels.

Not sure if it is rf getting into the supply or the caps on the output filter have crapped out or if this is normal on 160 with this amp. Have tried various power levels from 100-400 watts out and it almost disappears at the 100 watt level.

Anyone seen or had this issue?

Thanks AJ___ VE3HJ
