[Amps] Tentec Hercukes II PA Bias

Does anyone know the proper spec for the Hercules II PA bias.  It has 
MRF458 devices.
I read somewhere it needs to be 500 ma per pair of transistors which is 
consistent with radio PAs that use these.
Amp I just acquired has PA bias set at 1.5 amps per  pair.  This amp 
looks unmolested as screws show no screwdriver marks. Is that bias of 
1.5A factory set?
