Terry, your comment confuses me. Are you saying one or more of the following:
(a) The coil of the input relay shows continuity when the relay is
removed from the amplifier.
(b) The relay is energized ("draws current") in both the standby and
operating mode.
(c) The relay contacts do not move at any time, but remain stuck in a
frozen, normally open configuration even when the coil is energized.
