Are you sure the Hi-Lo switch is in the Hi position? You'll get high grid
current if it's in the Lo position, and it'll be tough to get full output.
The switch should always be in the Hi position. Typical grid current in the
Hi position would be 35ma-70ma, and you should have no trouble driving the
amp to 1500W with 50W-70W. AlphaMax in my 87A usually autotunes to this
level. If the Yellow LEDs comes on intermittently, you may have a bad relay
or connection between the shack and antenna farm.
