It's probably that they were running at max processor!  I had one guy come
to me on 15 and tell me I was really wide (like 10 Kcs down).  I back off my
processor and mike gain and he said my signal improved.  He said he'd let me
know if I was still generating crud.  Never heard from him again!
Now, the W I D E guys were the Italians!  But I guess that's another story!
