Steve, et al,
I just had a transformer wound at EPD in North Carolina and was totally
satisfied with the results. I got a quote from Hammond for the same xfmr
and it was 70% more and an E-Core design! Thought those had left the
planet.
Anyway www.epd-inc.com or 919-365-9199.

Subject: [Amps] where to get TL-922 fil xfrmer rewound?
Hello all,
A friend had the filament transformer in his TL-922 fail. He asked me if
I knew of anyone rewinding them. I told him I'd ask here.
If he can't find anyone, I suppose he can either look for something that
will work (SB-220?), use an external fil/control/bias transformer, or buy
a new, replacement one.
I did look on Hammond's web page, for the Dahl line of transformers, but
didn't see anything for the Kenwood amp.
Ideas?
Any guidance is appreciated.
