Removed, destroyed, refurbished, sandblasted and restamped.

Normal practice for RF transistors in that part of the world. Tell 'em what you need and they'll stamp 'em withe the appropriate numbers. Even the matching codes for a coupla bucks more.

So many people have been caught, like you, that I thought it would have been common knowledge by now. I got caught when I got "new" finals for the Yaesu MkV quite a few years back.
