I guess I just learned what makes a matched pair of tubes. A guy on fleabay has two 4-250A tubes advertised as a matched pair. The ad says that only the filaments have been checked. I sent him/her an email asking how they were determined to be a matched pair if only the filaments were checked. The reply was that they both had the same date code, and that is what makes them a matched pair. Amazing. His/her user name had the word audio in it. ---- Msg sent via CableONE.net MyMail - http://www.cableone.net _______________________________________________ Amps mailing list Amps@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/amps |
