I took a Yaseu FL-2100Z on the plane when I went to Montserrat back in '86.
It fit in a letter carriers bag. Light weight is a relative term when it
comes to amps. The FL-2100 Z is light compared to many amps but I wouldn't
make a habit of carting it around town just for fun. It was a good size
for carrying though - roughly the size of my Kenwood TS-930.
