Reading old tags is tough at best. Most likely they wimped out when they
tried to stamp the dot after the 4 in the 4620kv.
Depending upon its age this xfmr just may be bridgeable for the full 4.6kv
output. In the old days they insulated all parts of the winding, even the
center-tap. Sometimes the wording on the tag would allude to this
capability. Other cases require an educated guess, maybe a hipot test?
At 65 pounds weight it might be safe to assume they didn't skimp on
fishpaper and enamel. How bad do you need 5kv is the question.
