? I did not intend to intimate that the 4CX1500A was designed for Class
C. The dissipative ability of the 4CX1500A is relatively small compared
to its emissive ability. Class C simply puts less burden on the anode
cooler. Examination of the constant current curves reveals that the
4CX1500A has rather good linearity - provided that no grid current flows
and loading is adjusted for the recommended amount of screen current in
Class AB1 service. . ...
