Is anyone using this combination ? I have a couple of questions.

Dick: I use this combo. My VL-1000 purchase was 2-3 yrs ago, when I was
using a Yaesu 950.
Worked great. Still does. Follows the 5000MP, remembering the last
settings. My antenna is a Force12 5BA, which has three feed lines: 20;
15-17; 12-10. So port 1 feeds 20. Port 2 feeds 15-17. Port 3 feeds
12-10., Port 4 feeds my loop for 40-80-160. The amp remembers which is
chosen from the rig. Also remembers the mode last used and any other
settings. So you could say I highly recommend the combo. I hope this
