Frank uses no equalization. He personally sits there and matches
each diode in the string before he personally assembles and
pots each unit. I have several of his units; one bridge of which
delivers 6 kv @ 2 amps, and has lasted me 16 years so far!
Also, Frank is a very nice guy that you can actually call up and
talk to mano e mano.
A rumor was started on this reflector when I commented on
the K2AW diodes a few years back that these are Chinese
microwave oven diodes. Nothing could be further from the
truth! They are all hand crafted.
