Guys:
I have a homebrew Linear Amp that I bought from a Ham back when I lived =
in Texas. I personally know little
about amplifiers, there design etc. However I can do component =
substitution and things of a like nature. I=20
amplifier has an 8877 tube with about 3300 volts on plate. It works well =
most the time, but the antenna relay
is very slow and the contacts don't always remake when it goes back to =
recieve. It has 2 relays, a smaller
one that I believe switches the Bias voltage off and on, and the larger =
one a DPDT switches antenna from
amp to tranciever and back. Both relays are 28 volt coil. I would =
appreciate any recommendation of what
components would be a better substitution for QSK operation. I have =
several other things that I would like to
fix on this amp as it does work very well and has excellent power =
output!
Your comments will be appreciated
