Soapbox: Great fun - doubled my score by adding 1/3 more Mults & 1/3 more Q's
than last
year. Some great Asia DX - China, Tiawan - first time from home station! Eu
was short and
sweet again this year. Beamed EU and worked our American neighbours off the
back of the
beam, but Eu was not strong or long. Should have spend some more time on CW to
pick up
more mults during the Eu openings... I was having such fun running I often
forgot. Had a
good 8 hours of over 100+ per hour during Sat. and at least 4 hours 100+ per
hour on Sun.
Little better results from Asia/Pacfic/VK than last year, but less action from
SA. Should
have tried for some more CW mults, but my CW is really not up to contest
levels. First
ever 1800+ Q count from my home station... on a single band to boot!
Thanks to all those who stopped by - great turn out from the US hams Only
missed ND & SD
for WAS in a single contest. See you in the next set.
