Comments:
Despite low SFI in the 80's conditions were the best for several
years. With simple antennas we could not make an impression
into Europe on the low bands, so decided to focus on the bands
which would support better run rates. Only 17.4% of QSO's were
made to Europe, so we missed out on many countries and zones.

As usual from South Pacific best runs were to North America
and Japan- good for points and bad for multipliers.

10m was fantastic on last day, and saw the run meter peak at 300
for last 10 QSO's.

Nice to make a few 5 band contacts.

If this is the start of the new season, we can't wait for
the ARRL 10m in December.

Regards
