Results of our 5V7A multi-multi effort. OPs were KC7V, N7BG, K5VT, K7GE,
W6RGG, K7PN, N7MB, G3SXW, GM3YTS, G4FAM.
We may have recorded the highest nr. of qsos ever made on 20m in the CQWW
CW test...4,307 after removing 339 dupes. 12, 954 qsos were made before
dupes...727 of them for a dupe rate of 5.6%.
The hotel in Lome was fabulous. They put 60 amps for us in the shack so we
could run 6 amps. They took out a small window and replaced it with a
board with round holes cut out so we could run multiple coax and rotor
cables in and still keep the door closed to cool the room. We had total
access to the roof (600 feet long and 60 feet up) which we installed 3 - 30
foot towers for 15, 20 and 40m and various other antennas.
We left a ton of gear in Lome for next year. Thanks to everyone for the
qsos. We appreciate any comments on our signal so we can try to improve
where possible.
