Comments:
Many thanks to Jeff, KQ7I, for bringing over his station helping out primarily
on 40 and 10 meters once again. This formula allows for both of us to get some
sleep - although a 3rd operator would be nice to maximize the score.
Congrats to the N7DX team who out paced us on the scoreboard.
Jeff had to put up with cats, vegan food poisoning and a software bug that
presented itself at 1 in the morning when I was sleeping because he had worked
too many JAs. :-)
Generally a good time was had by all. Conditions were certainly different
between the first and second half of the contest. Was really feeling left out
working any Europeans on 80 until things perked up late in the opening the
second night. Same issue on 15/10M the first morning. 10 never fully opened up
to Europe - left a lot of easy mults on the table as a result. 15 was night and
day better the second morning.
