Comments:

Another Summer NAQP SSB in the books. Always a tough slog in Summertime, with
Lighting crashes and noise from the Sierra Nevada range always present. none
the less we were able to beat last years score and train some newer ops in the
process despite a smaller team than usual. here is how things went down.

10M WD6T/N6WM at various times. -- Not a lot of activity in 10, although band
was open somewhat most seemed to avoid the band.

15M N6WM - 15 Meters was somewhat productive but experienced some rather severe
qsb where stations would literally vanish, only to return a few seconds later.
Some local PG&E noise but did our best for summer.

2OM WD6T- Dave did is college best to work all he could on 20, there were some
slow periods and the band was noisy and also had some of the similar qsb
experienced on 15.

40M N6WM/KK6PXT - WM kicked off on 40 during the pre/barely open period, and
once things got rolling passed it to KK6PXT who went nose down and kept the
candle burning for the rest of the contest. He did a FB job.

80M WD6T/NN6U - Dave and John Shared the noisy 80m band making good use of our
Rotateable dipole. Condx noisy but got some good mults. this is the first real
op opportunity for NN6U at N6RO, so we welcome him with a nice 80m shift (hi
hi)

160M N6RO Ken jumped on for a couple of 10 minute periods, working locals and a
couple mults. as to be expected in summer, band was not stellar.

Thanks to RO for another team effort opportunity, and spagetti dinner served.

for Team N6RO
73 and seeya next time
Chris N6WM
