Comments:
My first use of a omnidirectional 2m antenna with gain ( stacked omnis from
FreqTester 2X2MLHD-RD-SO, should be equivalent to DIY stacked from QEX Jan/Feb
2023p. 3).
At about 65 feet above ground and about 35 watts at antenna in Columbia, MD
FM19ne , made FT-8 QSOs to Canada FN04ae 380miles and FN33gh 335 miles and many
other closer stations. This has impressed me. And no use of a rotator!
Previously used a slightly lower 5-element yagi to reach FN31.
