Comments:
Tough this morning. QRM seemed to follow me around. The first frequency I tried
had this squiggly wavering signal I've been seeing lately so I moved up about
2kHz, and it found me there about 20 minutes in covering up the weaker callers.
The overall noise level picked up as well. Moving to 20, it was mostly other
stations moving in close or key clicks. Good practice but eventually I moved but
other stations closed in again. Europe was very weak and fluttery on 20. I heard
a couple of them but only managed to copy the call of one, who was not in CWT.
Thanks for the calls. Sometimes this reminds me of golf - if I copy a difficult
call through QRM on the first try I feel like a pro, and if I miss a simple
& familiar one that's in the clear I feel like a dummy. Just a matter of
doing another 20K QSOs I guess.
