Comments:
Habits and routine develop quickly. Despite
practicing the Wintertime shift in the OK1WC
Memorial on Monday and the Silent Key Memorial
on Tuesday, I almost missed 1300Z CWT session.
Fortunately no miss as this was definitely my best
score ever. Wasted time trying to call weak ones
on 21 MHz, but started my own run, and got many
calls, even from USA/VE. Also 28 MHz was nice,
and on top of it all worked Helga IN3FHE in the
last minute for the first time on 28 MHz.
Solar X-ray activity is moderate, and MUF is up
thanks to the Winter Anomaly on the Northern
Hemisphere. Aurora was gearing up during CWT,
soon to be well over 50 gigawatts...
Worked CQWWDX SSB 5 x SOSB on all but 1.8 MHz.
Operated OG6B/OH5ZA/OH9COG/OH1QX/OH3MHA with
28 MHz giving the best score, with only VO1CH
from Zone 5... no USA worked at OG6B - 28 MHz.
Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA #1856 CWops
