Comments:
Did operate a long weekend from the Hawkhill
Cottage Resort (KP20FH), from the car at the
lakeside. I damaged at least the tuner while
operating in the dark and not seeing the SWR
instrument, with an unstable antenna setup.
Maybe even the linear got damaged, now causing
me to operate LP in CWT. I had three sets of
headphones in the car and could not find the
keys, so with too much echo in the shack, it
was a late start after locating the car key.
It was much harder to get through on LP, but
still managed to work three USA-stations and
Art VE3CT on 14 MHz with Europe quite damped.
On 21 MHz only DK9PY DL6RAI and OK5M. Finally
7 MHz turned out busy, and I even managed to
work buddy Frans PA0INA in the last minute!
