Comments:
CWT started with a X-ray B5-level peak while sliding
back to B3 during the hour. That is quite a bit down
from the C2-level background a few days ago. Aurora
was up to 27 GW, allowing only a few weak signals on
21 MHz from the USA East Coast. Initially USA was
blank for 14 MHz looking from our watchtower, but ¨
then at 1315Z Den AE2W suddenly booming, and Marv
N5AW likewise strong coming back to my CQ. 14 MHz
was the best band, while the few last minutes were
spent on 7 MHz. Daytime is already 'getting longer'
at almost 6 hours sunlight... Happy New Year 2022!
Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA #1856 CWops
