65 ft inductively loaded sloper
I set a goal of 1000 points and achieved it. My furthest contact was NP2J at
5670 km. Average point per QSO was 4.7 or half way across the US.
I thought conditions were reasonable. Activity was down a little but easy to
make contacts with the east coast for 8 pointers. I shut down at 11 pm when I
ran out of people to work.
This is a very interesting contest. N6TR has a very novel scoring system which
enhances making long distant contacts. I worked KP2, PJ2, ZF, KL7, and KH6 for
non W/VE. I heard FM5BH calling CQ but there was a loud W station calling CQ
next to him making it difficult to hear him. No other DX was heard.
73, Kurt W6PH
