Comments:
Always look forward to the Big Stew to try out different antenna options.
Started out with LP but it became obvious condx were marginal with hi QRN and
QSB. So the 500w borrowed footwarmer got deployed. Main amp still under repair.
All 4 rx antennas got a heavy workout.
Lots of usually strong sigs were very weak. Only western US stns sounded normal.
The rising SFN/SN indexes and absorption took its toll on TB out here. Lots of
repeats needed. Was able to snag some DX:
(4)KL7,(1)KH6,(3)KP2,(2)ZF9),(1)PJ2,(1)XE and the big surprise, SM2M called in,
the only EU heard but zero JAs at grayline.
Overall, a big disappointment compared to last year but as usual, fun working
all the CW and TB fans.
